Commerce Casino LA Poker Classic

The Commerce Casino LA Poker Classic Tournament is an annual poker tournament that takes place in the world famous Commerce Casino, in Califormia and is the world’s largest poker room. The LA Poker Classic is a part of the World Poker Tour circuit and features more than three weeks of daily poker tournaments with various buy-in’s and a variety of poker games including Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo.

Many of the LA Poker Classic tournaments are two day poker tournaments concluding with the Championship poker tournament main event, a five day tournament. In conjunction with the LA Poker Classic, Commerce Casino also hosts the WPT Invitational poker tournament that is one of the main televised events on the WPT schedule. The LA Poker Classic is the largest event of the Commerce Casino calendar and attracts professional and amateur players from around the world. One of the first WPT events since the creation of the WPT, the LA Poker Classic is in its own right is a true classic poker tournament.

In addition to the long list of events played throughout the event duration, there is a $50,000 prize for the Best All-Around Player over the entire month's worth of tournaments. In the past that honour has been claimed by players such as Chip Jett, Ted Forrest, and Daniel Negreanu.

The Commerce Casino is a vast building featuring over 200 poker tables showcasing almost every game of poker ever conceived. In its many years of operation, the LAPC has become a player favourite.
