WPT 2008 Legends of Poker

The Bicycle Casino is host to the third stop on the World Poker Tour, the Legends of Poker Tournament. The Legends of Poker is known for drawing an eclectic mix of celebrities, poker pros, and regular folks. The main event is the No Limit Texas Hold’em Championship, an official World Poker Tour tournament, which takes place from August 28 through August 31, 2004. The buy-in for the Championship tournament is $5,000 plus a $150 entry fee. The Bicycle Casino Legends of Poker Tournament includes a number of smaller poker tournaments which will be held in the month preceding the Championship tournament beginning with a casino employee poker tournament to be held on July 28. Poker tournaments for the public begin July 29, with a limit Texas Hold'em tournament. Poker tournament games include Texas Hold'em, Omaha, and Stud poker including some Hi-Lo games. Buy-ins for these other poker tournaments range from $100 to $3,000 (plus entry fees of $20 to $100). Bicycle Casino will hold $500 Super Satellites to the $5,000 Championship tournament on August 25, 27, and 28.
