The Gardens at the Wynn are a great place to relax and clear your mind before the big tourney.
Steve Wynn's latest resort, Wynn Las Vegas, is the first one he's ever signed his name to (as he proudly says in his television commercial), and is currently the most expensive hotel and casino in the world.
The $2.7 billion property features over 2,700 guest rooms and suites. Nine-foot floor-to-ceiling windows in each of the rooms offer guests sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip, the property's mountain lake area and exclusive golf course, which was designed by Tom Fazio and Mr. Wynn himself.
The Wynn Las Vegas is truly spectacular! The only casino resort in the world to win the coverted Mobil 5 Star and AAA Five Diamond awards. And now they can add the prestigous Full House Travel Award for 'Worlds Best Casino Resort'. OK, so it might not be as impresive as the stars and diamonds, but we feel this Resort Casino is truly spectacular!
The hotel also boasts a Ferrari and Maserati dealership. Wynn Las Vegas features nearly 20 restaurants, with renowned culinary talent such as Daniel Boulud, Alessandro Stratta and Paul Bartolotta.
As for shows, "Le Reve," French for "The Dream," now calls the Wynn Theater, a 2,080-seat venue, home. Produced by Franco Dragone, the theater serves as the backdrop for the more than 70 performers who move in and out of a one-million-gallon pool. The domed theater is constructed "in the round," the first of its kind in Las Vegas. The furthest seat in the 14-row theater is just 42 feet from the stage. The Broadway hit, "Monty Python's Spamalot" will be coming in 2007. Wynn Las Vegas will build a 1,600-seat theater for the $50 million show. The Las Vegas production will span 90 minutes, compared with the approximate two-hour version in New York City, which won three 2005 Tony Awards, including "Best Musical." The show is based on the movie, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." It tells the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and their irreverent quest for the Holy Grail.
The property's 200,000 square feet of meeting space has two ballrooms, 18 meeting rooms and two boardrooms equipped with cutting-edge technology.
